Penang Lor Mee is a noodle dish with Hokkien roots. The soup is thick and starchy, with a strong scent of five spice powder. Normally served alongside hokkien mee (a.k.a prawn Mee) by Penang hawkers partially due to the similarities in their ingredients.

Tips
It’s normal to receive your Lor Mee paste in hardened from since it contains tapioca flour. Before use, apply pressure to soften it until “paste” form so that it will dissolve much easier.

- Do I need to refrigerate the paste?
No, it can be stored at room temperature prior to unsealing.
- How long can I keep the paste after opening?
If not consumed entirely, you can store the leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate it. Our paste will last at least
2 months in the fridge. - How soon will I receive the paste after ordering?
Typically, you can expect to receive it within 2-3 working days after payment (excluding public holidays and Sundays).
- What is the shelf life of the paste?
Up to 8 months. You may check the printed expiry date on the packaging.
- Does the soup need seasoning?
Our soup is already seasoned. However, taste preference may vary from person to person. Feel free to add seasonings
